Phnom Kampong Trach
Situated approximately 38 kilometers East of Kampot province, Phnom Kampong Trach is a rocky mountain with a stunning cave at the foot of the mountain and other small mountains. These mountain areas were one of the last Khmer Rouge holdouts.
Entrance
At the cave entrance, you will see a series of limestone caves and tubes. There will be many children wait to guide you through the cave. The cave is daily maintained by monk and monastery committee over there as there is a Khmer pagoda at the entrance.
Cave
Inside the cave, you will find a very big Buddha statue and other smaller statues. There is also a small lake inside the cave (Swimming Cave). Another interesting part is purple earth which its soil has seven different colors.
